BeatGMATMath.com

Hey guys,

I know it’s been quite a while since I’ve posted and I’m sorry about that I’m going to try to get back to regular postings now. I just wanted to update you on what I’ve been working on.

Myself and my new partner Alex Weathers, are working on a new site devoted completely to the GMAT. It’s going to be different than anything out on the market and 100x more affordable. Rather than take a GMAT Kaplan class, or Manhattan and spend over $1,000 we are going everything you need for prices college students can afford. I’m really excited about what Alex and I have been working on. The site’s URL will be BeatGMATMath.com

Rather than just give you a ton of problems and crappy answer solutions that don’t really teach you how to work the problem, we’ll be doing something completely different. We’ve broken the GMAT math into each functional area from algebra and geometry to probability. We’ll present a video lesson (with some text) to catch you up to speed on the basics of the topic then present a number of GMAT problems that will be worked for you on the screen with the tutor explaining outloud his thought process and why he is doing what he is doing. This way of teaching you the GMAT actually puts you in our instructor’s heads, all of which have scored 800’s or very close. Alex, our curriculum head has scored perfect in both the English and Math sections.

After that we’ll have a series of GMAT problems for you to try on your own. The site is pretty much done and Alex and the rest of the team will hopefully have completed the rest of the content in the next month or so. As the site matures we’ll be adding simulated GMAT tests, forums, and even a page to find a GMAT tutor in your area.

So look forward to more great posts on life and college as well as some great GMAT material.
